—They have the same problems as Twitter, but are a little less evil... so I just use it passively.

—My old Fediverse home! It's still in light use, but mostly defunct.
「Pixiv」
—Too lazy to upload art to it or un-private most of my old art.
Maybe this is the most-convenient-yet-out-of-the-place way to write it: I really struggle with using social media healthily.
I'm pretty wary of people, and the concepts of "networking" and "marketing" leave bad tastes in my mouth, I try to only seek real friendships and mutual art appreciation.
I have extremely low tolerance for clout chasers, whining about algorithm success, and AI use mainly.
Inversely, on my own Misskey instance, I usually share whatever I like in front of me due to the lack of incentives to ladder climb on it.
If I'm following on Twitter, it usually means I seek friendship on top of liking whatever the person I'm following is doing or has shared with me.
But, I usually avoid following first there nowadays unless there are special circumstances.
I think this puts pressure on others to make themselves known to me first and give off a good impression, which might be a little bit unfair.
So far, this has been the most stable way for me. I overthink these things a lot, so I apologize in advance to any confusing behaviors.
